This Assam black tea is straight up your everyday regimen of tea rituals. It is a bold and strong cup with a robust grape like aroma with nutty undertone, leaving a malty after taste. The aroma is equally strong, malty with a sweet undertone bearing hints of grapefruit.

The liquor is bold and medium bodied. As it slowly rolls in the mouth it oozes a robust note of grape with light nutty undertone. As it ends, it gives a light sweet, bold, earthy taste that finished with a malty after taste that stays.

DRY LEAF
The leaves are small, well rolled, blackish leaves that are evenly graded. It gives out a light malty and nutty aroma with earthy undertone.
INFUSED LEAF
The leaves bear strong and bold aroma of grape and earthy note along with light sweet undertone. The leaves are broken and small with dark brown and coppery appearance.

Assam is in close one of the most biodiversity rich region with close to 507 million kg production of tea, making it the world’s largest tea growing region. Assam is known for producing both orthodox and CTC varieties of tea. The teas produced here are simply called Assam Tea. However, only the teas grown in the estates from Brahmaputra Valley are qualified to called Assam teas.

Loose leaf teas are the best for consumption as one is able to brew the leaves properly while also enjoying maximum benefits from the tea leaves. When steeped, loose leaf tea gives the complex flavours of tea that one can enjoy only in good quality teas. Also tea leaves need adequate space to properly unfurl while brewing. So, for a flavourful and wholesome tea experience use loose leaf tea.

We recommend a certain temperature (80-85 C; 90-95 C) for the fresh o2 rich filtered water to be boiled at the time of brewing tea. This is only a guide and precision without a thermometer is challenging. You can simply boil and see for yourself. Boiling water is at 100 C, if you leave it for 30 sec it should be around 90-95 C, if you leave it for 40-45 sec it should be around 85-90 C and for 1 minute leave water at around 80-85 C.

Spoon measured the quantity of tea in the tea maker/pot. Pour boiled water (150 ML) over the tea leaves (2 g). Steep for suggested time (4-5 minutes). Strain & sweeten as per choice. Pour it in a cup and enjoy the #PluckToCup experience. It should not be overheated as that would burn the tea leaves.

We vacuum package our tea in High Barrier ALUMINUM Pouches to ensure freshness of the teas. We recommend that you store tea in an airtight container in a cool, dry and odour free place. This keeps it away from air, light and surrounding odour. Thereby ensuring longer shelf life and quality experience of the tea.

Our teas can be used from 18 to 24 months from the date of manufacturing. However, teas once opened have to be stored in airtight containers and should be kept away from moisture, light and odour.
